WHooooooooooooaaaaaaaa!!!!
A love story after a long time!!!!
And it is realllyyyy good. Nice to read a happy ending story after all the sad stuff I write and read
And what about these lines??
“I don’t know anything else that I am good at it. I don’t suck at this.”
Heck! Felt like a slap on the face
But thats ok. Because the rest of part made up for that

Not upto your status but a decent read. I find a lot of similarity with diya and the author [:D]
I just had one doubt. Wasn’t it coz of Diya that anirudh lost control of the car [:P]? If so how is she the miracle maker. I agree that the oncoming car driver was drunk but still.
Anyways nice to have ur blog updated.

Reading ur blog for the first time, and its a classic story. And your sentence in the about me…
Everything in life doesn’t need an explanation. Let certain things be unanswered, unsolved. Unravel the mystery of being you a tiny bit everyday. That’s what makes life exciting.

@maverik
The distraction could be anything else, sometimes a moment to take at the radio, or your mobile . So I would not really call it her fault.
And the reason why she is the miracle maker is probably the essence of the story. She kept him in consious talking to him everything under the sun not even knowing if it would help him or not because to her he just had to listen and let his heart beat.
Anirudh would probably not have made it if he had not been in concsious. That’s why she is the miracle maker. I hope I brought that out in the story.

really really beautiful!!
the name selections???? wonder how u came up with them… but somehow it totally gelled for the story
cud relate to the characters really well coz i guess this is how most of have become nowadays… agnostics…. we really don know wat to belive in
selling our souls to be “on call”… reminds me of somethin similar that we underwent

Good story. It essentially highlights two belief systems:
1. Those who believe in things without a reason.
2. Those who need a reason to believe in things.
The eternal faith vs. science argument..

True… It might be hard to believe in this all powerful all knowing GOD who we never see. But its much easier to believe in people…because they are the ones who really deliver the miracles that God intends.

hey Nivi! That was a really good story! Simple and creates impact at the same time. I love the way you write!
I’ve always considered myself an agnostic..I just finished the “Life of Pi” where the author’s main character makes an amusing comment on agnostics. He says, he doesn’t mind atheists because they follow a religion of their own. But agnostics are comfortable in their ignorance whether God exists or not and worse still, they do not bother to find out.
Your story reminds one of incidents that cannot be explained by a rational explanation. I still cannot attribute this to “God”, but it makes me aware that there are miraculous things that can happen to me and I should be grateful for them.

Brilliant. Write a bigger script on something like this and I am directing it with Keanu Reaves and Charilze Theron

Hey Nivi,
It was simply beautiful. I wished the story was a little more longer because I enjoyed reading it and hated to come to the end.
Well, I guess its the way you structure the sentences with a wonderful use of vocabulary that makes the reader enjoy the stories.

Hey Nivi,
Wonderful read! Love the way you write. Simple yet effective. As Shilpa says had the story been longer it would have been interesting. As far as conviction goes it would take much more than this to make me believe in miracles!!

@shirish
To each her own. I have always been a huge believer in god. At the end of it all it boils down to faith. I give it a one name and another person calls it another. Like the author in life of pi says I dont know what an agnostic’s faith is? what does he believe in?
If there is one thing that I dont believe that is saying a man does not need faith. Everyone needs it. The ones who say they dont need it are just ignorant of the fact that they do have a faith , just that they dont know it yet!
What makes us close our eyes in the night thinking tomorrow will be a better day! What makes us believe that tomorrow the world is not going to break in to a million pieces. I call that faith.

@jagdeep
You bet we can make a movie
Just not that horrible story of yours with me as the lead!!
Thanks man
@Shilpa
Thanks a lot for that comment . I will try to live up to that
Welcome to my blog
@Vinod
Thanks man
Well like i just said before, its just a question of interpretation. The whole incident may not change anirudh in to a god believer but it would definitely open his mind to believe that there are things out of his hand and things that are quite inexplicable. In this case he attributes it to Diya. Some other time he would attribute it to someone else maybe.
