It’s not about winning.

It’s about never ever giving up.

Because then you emerge a winner!

The story is AWAKENING

Nivi.. you caught me on the first word there…. “ The Beach”.. trust me what a way to start.. infact I am already lifting my hats off :-) . And hey I just loved the way you were describing the beach and the way it made Shravan feel… I can totally relate to that man… Nothing like the beach eh? And that sentence “It’s not over until it’s over” … wow lady you just blow my mind away. I adored the way you described about his feeling about the waves yaar especially the one where you said “ they promised him that they will be back”.. maybe I am deviating from the topic here… how many of us keep such promises eh?.. and if just keeping such promises could make a person happy why not take a little bit of an effort to do it.

And you really had me there man.. what an awesome way of relating things to the waves everything was so beautifully crafted that I cant think of anyone else who could have done justice to such a great piece but you. The way you initially went about saying how he really loved the waves coming back and then showed a marked contrast by depicting the same person hating to see anything leave him. Oh my god!!! How do u come up with such great relation and flow … and always manage to achieve impeccability. Your narration was really gripping.. the way you brought out the contrasts in him and a nice message for people about how they end up screwing their lives just in an attempt to be cool and like u rightly pointed out such lives are nothing but falling deeper into an abyss that’s gonna swallow him alive.

Back again with a BANG!!! super dude!
there is somethin in this blog for everyone…for evryone holding on to their past, never letting go of things….For evryone with some mortal craving that makes their lives miserable…

The waves and the sands of the beach give me the very same feeling…some thats pure, unadulterated and profound….

keep them coming!!!expecting more from u!

P.S: may be everyone shd know u wrote it at office :-) :-) (with me nagging u for alllllllllllll code related doubts and also naming ur chracters!)

    Absolutely wonderful.
The way U have expressed them with words was AWESOME. I felt as if I was standing besides Shravan on a beach and reading his thoughts as he stood gaping at the shore. However hard we try the beach does have some mysteriousness left to make us wonder about its depth and beauty.
Not exaggerating, but truly this should be used as a material in the rehabilitation centers or as non detailed prose for children to teach the to not fall prey to drugs.
    Again….HATS OFF!!!!!!!!

Well well well ,,,,, the title just summed up everything……. I mean EVERYTHING. Wonder how come u give such FITTING titles to ur blogs n stories. And btw u know what …. now there s such a stiff competition between “Tomorrow Tomorrow” and this one….. both seem to be mai favourites ;-) … but still to choose one among these two is really difficult .

Hey gal …. the standard of writing …. Its jus sooo good…u know… the dexterity to shape a plot from nowhere and finally to intermingle everything into a magnificent story ….. tat jus benchmarks ur writing.

Loved some of the quotes…..”You were your boss before that Shravan, but look at what it has done to you” Looks like the character Sanjana is very close to the writer of Awakening ;-) it really hit me tat way ….

Was it the water because it always ended up washing away anything the sand had made impressions of? Or was it the sand which refused to let the waves win? I really didn’t know that u can come up with something like this….. d scripting is getting sooooo very professional gal …. Am really really impressed with this story ….that if I run a rehabilitation centre …. I would definitely read out tis story to all the addicts …..as a part of d rehabilitation process ;-)

And d final punch …..”And that defined winners, never giving up” , only ur writings can perk up the readers…..the josh n d energy the words drive in when we read certain lines…. am just left ineffable here !!!

p.s Indian names ;-) Loved the names of the characters in this story  Sanjana ku pathila Aaradhana apdinu irundirunda….nan Jyothika va nenachinde padichirupen ;-)

Supeeeeeerrrrr post dude!!! Awesome writing!! To begin with a man standin in a beach n relatin his emotions to the motion of waves has to b applauded!! And then gettin to the actual story wid beach as d startin point of his journey of life is quite amazing!!
And the father’s piece of advice to Shravan was very nice to read..True it s , beach is a place where a flurry of thoughts come by when we keep lookin at d waves n der beauty:) I ve experienced it!! Lot of things we recollect, good n bad.

Very interestin part I found is the battle between waves and sand that you took to define the meanin of winners.I like it so much!!U r gettin very professional gal!!
n It s very much true that sometimes enemies are residin within ourselves. Even bad attitude , bad qualities
apart frm bad habits will take d beauty of life away frm us slowly..

Neways very heartenin to read a story of different genre!!Lemme no when u finish writin ur first novel!! I ll b d first to grab it:-)

    Hi Nivi,

Just happened to read your blog arbitrarily and I must say your views are very deep and thoughtful. Especially the last paragraph which says :-
“It dawned upon him that one needs to let go. Let go of things good or bad if we know that they are causing us pain. Cause the good things always come right back to us, just like the waves. We don’t need to constrict them and try to hold them. They always come back. It was then he realized that the greatest battles we fight are not against the vilest of enemies who seem to want our material possessions but rather are against our very own destructive self which seems to eat on our happiness!”
These words can only come out of a person who has truly experienced what they mean in the true sense and that’s what caught my eye!
